Memory of Water is a quiet meditation on how water shapes stone and time shapes us. Inspired by stones softened at the edge of the sea, this collection pairs darkened copper with stones that feel as if they’ve been touched by water — softer purples, smoky grays, muted blues, and warm browns that echo a quiet shoreline. The work holds a gentle sense of movement and stillness, like the tide lingering in stone.

This necklace is part of the Memory of Water collection and is designed to pair with the Amethyst Crystal Point Necklace, though it is also available as a standalone piece.
It features a natural found river stone, smooth and softly rounded from years of water movement. The stone has a pale ecru tone and becomes subtly translucent when held to the light, giving it a quiet, luminous quality. It is set in a handcrafted copper prong setting that allows the natural shape and surface of the stone to remain visible.
The pendant hangs from double copper jump rings on a hand-fused and forged solid copper chain. The chain is a paperclip style with elongated links, giving it a slightly more open, linear feel while still maintaining a substantial, handcrafted presence. The necklace is finished with a copper snap clasp that has been electroformed over a base metal core for strength and durability.
The entire piece has a darkened, oxidized finish that enhances the depth and warmth of the copper. Left natural, the metal will continue to develop a richer patina over time. If desired, it can be gently polished to restore brightness, though many prefer the evolving, time-worn character that comes with wear.
This necklace measures 26 inches in length. The river stone is approximately 18mm, with a total drop of about 28mm including the bail.
