This charm features the Algiz rune from the Elder Futhark, an ancient Norse symbol representing protection, strength, and connection to higher spiritual forces.
This rustic, twig-like piece is crafted from pure fine silver, with a raw, organic form inspired by the rune’s shape. Small but meaningful studs, hand-stamped with runic symbols from the Elder Futhark—the oldest known runic alphabet used by Germanic and Norse peoples from around the 2nd to 8th centuries. Each rune carries its own distinct meaning: strength, protection, love, journey, transformation. Choose the rune that speaks to you.
Each earring begins as recycled pure fine silver, torch melted and hand-forged into an organic nugget, then hand-stamped with your chosen rune. Because the silver is shaped by hand and measured by weight, no two nuggets are perfectly round—some rounder, some more organic in shape. That variation is part of what makes each pair genuine.
The surface finishes with a matte brushed texture that deepens the contrast of the oxidized stamp, letting the image stand out with clarity. Posts are standard 20-gauge half-inch sterling silver; custom lengths available upon request.

What are the runes?
Runes come from a time when the world was still perceived as a magical place. And when people still felt a connection to it. Runes were inscribed onto helmets, swords, sacred objects and stones or fragments of wood as dedications of hope and desire, power, and healing.
For these earrings I use custom made steel jewelry stamps in Elder Futhark runes. The ancient and mystical runes of Northern Europe are potent symbols of inspiration.

This handmade bracelet features natural blue Fluorite stones. Rustic and earthy, they carry the look and character of recycled glass.
Each stone is wrapped in sterling silver wire and joined to the next with a small fused ring of fine silver. The chain is pure silver, handcrafted from raw stock. Every link is cut, formed, and heated until molten, fusing it closed and joining it to the next. A 13mm sterling silver lobster clasp hooks directly into the chain for a perfect fit every time. About the Elder Futhark Runes
The Elder Futhark is the oldest known runic alphabet, made up of 24 symbols used by early Norse and Germanic peoples from around the 2nd to 8th centuries. Each rune carries layered meaning, used historically for writing, divination, and as a personal talisman. Today, many people are drawn to runes for their deep archetypal significance and their connection to ancient wisdom, nature, and the human spirit.

Torch heated pure sterling silver melted to a ball, then hand formed and hammered for texture and organic shape—each one catching light differently across the dimpled surface. Because these are completely handmade and hand melted, each one is unique; some read rounder, others as a soft nugget. That variation is part of the craft.
