Copper Gemstone Necklace
This handmade necklace was created with pure copper. It features five hand fused and forged copper rings. Each one individually
hammered and hand stamped with spiral images. I love adding spirals into my work as this is a symbol of renewal and eternal life.
The rings are connected by double sterling silver jump rings.
Slightly off center and to the right is a gorgeous labradorite gemstone bead dangle. These gemstones are a blue gray in color and
flash bright blue reflections.
The focal set of rings is attached to a sterling silver cable chain. The chain is adorned with more of the faceted labradorite
stones in the center and again near the clasp.
The clasp on this necklace is hand finished with a sterling silver lobster style closure.
The necklace has a rustic oxidized patina. It has been hand polished with a fine steel wool for a lovely matte finish.
All metal work is done by me, by hand in my studio. All of my jewelry is packaged in a 100% recycled gift box with ribbon.

According to some legends and myths this stone is said to have fallen from the Aurora Borealis. Finnish Labradorite was sometimes buried in fields as an offering to the powerful spirits of the land.
It is said that the stone counters stress and psychological over-dependence, whether on other people, medicines, food, alcohol, or tobacco. Use
this stone to ease the stress of change and especially at work.
Care and cleaning:
Keep your copper jewelry in a sealed bag when you are not wearing it. This will help hinder tarnish. When your necklace does need cleaning,
you can gently buff it clean with an ultra fine steel wool or a polishing cloth. I use both and recommend Sunshine brand cloths. See my
supplies page to add one to your order.
