These beads have been calling out to me for a long time. The colors and glimmer of the high fired enamel finish just begged to be assembled into a wearable creation.

And to think- I've been hording these beads for about a year now!

Beautiful Mykonos Greek ceramic beads have been stacked and wire wrapped with pure copper and linked with my own handmade fused copper rings.

Each ring was created by heating until molten. Once fused, the rings are hammered and forged into shape. Most of the lower rings have spiral images on them.

These pure copper fused rings are linked together by double 16g jump rings- also pure copper.

The necklace has a lovely copper 15mm lobster clasp.

All have been oxidized for an earthy, rustic look. Then hand and machine polished for a beautiful shine.

The Name~ Possibly derived from Greek (thea) meaning "goddess". In Greek myth this was the name of a Titan goddess of sight, glittering and glory. She was the wife of Hyperion and the mother of the sun god Helios, the moon goddess Selene, and the dawn goddess Eos.
