• To create beautiful things that make people happy. I love what I do! I have a wonderful "job". (can we call this work?) I've been creating with Polymer clay for more than fourteen years. I am a self taught artist, with a passion that drives me. I am inspired by pretty much everything around me. From flowers and weeds in the yard to little elderly ladies walking down the street. I want to make it all with clay!

  • Hi! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Cindy and this is my shop! I sell all sorts of wonderful beads and findings. Many handmade and custom items available. At this time, my focus is on copper! I LOVE copper and working with metal in general. It’s such a thrill to hammer, pound, cut, rivet, fuse and solder!!

You will find many hand made charms and findings in my store. If you see any that you’d like customized, please convo me! I LOVE custom requests!!

My creations come directly form my heart and speak of my own spirituality and love for nature. I want to make you think- inspire you- and make you feel good about what you are wearing and the message it brings.

Please note that my charms, beads and jewelry are all created with Loving intent and passion. Usually while rocking out or swaying to Loreena McKennitt! ;)

I live in the Pacific Northwest in Washington state. I live near several great mountains including the Olympic Mountain range, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. Two hours drive to the Olympic Rain Forest. Less than two hours drive to the Pacific Ocean. I am surrounded by Nature at her finest! I love my life here with my beautiful family! I am very blessed.

The question I get most often about my artwork is "what kind of paint do you use?". My answer is none. The designs you see on the clay are IN the clay. The technique is called Millefiori.

Millefiori is a term used for creating pictures with rods. Originally done with glass, now the process can be recreated with polymer clay. The pictures you see on the clay are in the clay. They are not painted on. Pictures are created by assembling rods (or whatever shape needed) of colored clay into patterns. Imagine putting a thick puzzle together. Except you are creating the shapes as you go. This is how the image is created. This can be a long and painstaking process that can sometimes take several days to complete. But the results are amazing and sometimes mind-boggling.

Polymer clay is not true clay. Polymer clay consists of fine particles of poly vinyl chloride suspended in plasticizer. It must be conditioned by kneading until soft and pliable. Although it seems like and is used much like real clay there are some wonderful differences.

    • Polymer clay needs only the low temperature of a home oven to become solid.
    • Polymer clay won't dry out before it is cured.
    • Polymer clay is very durable and the colors will not fade or wash off.
    • Paint may be used, but polymer clay is available in dozens of colors.

Polymer clay can be drilled, sanded, or carved like wood. It can be caned (millefiori) like glass, draped like fabric, sculpted and molded like clay, stamped like paper, and braided or crocheted like fiber.

    The possibilities are endless!!
